LORE DUMP:
You live in an underground mega-structure known as the substation.
The gigantic metal prison known to many as the substation is a giant underground machine of unknown size. The constant hum of machinery can be heard from anywhere inside.
Rounds take place in a part of the machine seemingly built for human habitation but a lack of maintenance has left it to decay. Increases in population also required creating makeshift expansions which frequently collapse and tumble into the deep void below.
Outside are the tunnels. Few dare explore these regions due to rumors of unknown creatures roaming searching for prey. Recent exploration though has proven that valuable items are also of abundance in the tunnels but few people have returned.
Most travel between other settlements is done using the tram system which recently has had some technical difficulties leaving the current settlement isolated from the rest of the civilized regions.
Kinda like underrail i guess
